Following on from our recent fundraising update, we are delighted that the fundraising for St George’s Crypt bug has continued to grow, has swept through the office and turned into a full family affair! Below, Katie Haxton, Praesumo Office Manager, tells us about the sporting achievement her four-year-old son completed in aid of our charity of the year.
“My son Harison who is four years old, recently took part in the Leeds Run for All Mini Marathon. He loves running, runs everywhere and whenever there is a tiny bit of space… He runs. He basically doesn’t know how to walk at all, so this sporting challenge was perfect for him! The course was a mile long and it took Harison approximately 10 minutes to complete, with no stopping (only for a sip of water). His cousin Olivia, also four, took part with him and they both did so well! Along with Gift Aid, Harison raised a total of £897.56 for St Georges Crypt. They are absolutely thrilled with the amount”.
As are we! St George’s Crypt is our Charity of the Year and they work with homeless and vulnerable adults providing immediate care and support, food and accommodation. All of the services provided work towards employability and transformation. Aaron Henning, Praesumo Partner said “Praesumo has committed to raising much-needed funds for the Leeds-based charity and we are delighted Harison chose to support us in our ongoing efforts. It sounds like I will be asking him for tips for our forthcoming Rat Race Big Weekend Challenge!”
We are really excited about the progress made with our year-long commitment to fundraise, keep your eyes peeled for further updates.
