Moneypenny, the UK outsourced communications provider, has been invested in by ECI Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed but the investment has been described as ‘significant’.
The investment will be used to support growth plans for the Wrextham-based Moneypenny, with plans to expand throughout it’s major markets in the UK and US.
The business, which has over 700 staff and a turnover of £33m, provides organisations of various sizes with outsourced telephone answering, live chat, switchboard and other technical services. In recent years, demand for outsources technical communication services has grown significantly, with Moneypenny now handling 15 million calls and chats a year for over 13,000 clients.
Moneypenny’s co-founder, Ed Reeves, said: “We’ve such an exciting time ahead of us… We’re the market leaders, we’re growing incredibly quickly, and we continue to innovate, developing new technology such as our AI-enabled switchboards. Today’s investment from ECI will enable us to take all of those elements and scale them up even more quickly.”
