T minus: 7 days and counting! Two men, 150 miles, 48 hours and three modes of transport… And it’s all happening NEXT weekend!

Having set their targets fairly high, Aaron Henning, Praesumo Partner, and his friend, John Penn are set to take on the huge challenge of the Rat Race Coast to Coast Weekend in just seven days’ time!

The Rat Race Coast to Coast weekend is a 150 mile challenge that will see them run, ride and kayak across the Scottish Highlands! Over two days, they will take on the biggest physical challenge of their lives whilst taking in the stunning sights of Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness, Glen Nevis and Glen Coe, to name but a few! Famed for its tough terrain and extreme weather, their journey over the weekend will push them to the limit.

The epic challenge is set to raise £3,000 to split between two charities – Children With Cancer UK and St George’s Crypt, Leeds. And with just a week to go until they head to the start line, they are almost half way to their fundraising target!

Training for such an event was never going to be easy, but the adventurous pair are almost ready to take on the challenge. Speaking about the weekend ahead, Aaron said: “It’s going to be a physically exhausting weekend, but the views and breath-taking beauty we will take in will certainly spur us on along with the knowledge that it is for two great charities”.
